After more than two months of intense training and hands-on practice, the 19th SPP Pioneer Designers are about to present a wonderful graduation show! It is not only beautiful, but also very practical and most importantly, very environmentally friendly. Annie’s Smartex recycles discarded coconut shells, which can produce activated carbon at 1200°C. After grinding by nanotechnology, it is mixed with polyester or viscose to make coconut charcoal nano-powder, and finally made into coconut charcoal fiber. Coconut charcoal fiber is rich in many minerals. At this conference, designers used Annie’s Smartex functional yarns such as coconut charcoal yarn, volcanic healthy mud yarn, and chitosan modal fiber to add skin-friendly, antibacterial, environmentally friendly, and other properties to the products they designed.
