Why We Make it?
Traditionally, pineapple leaves, as production waste, are usually disposed of by incineration and then landfill, causing great pollution to the environment. The use of pineapple leaves to produce fibers provides an ideal solution to the problem of pineapple industry waste disposal, greatly reducing the degree of environmental pollution while increasing the value-added benefits of the product, which can be said to achieve a win-win situation in terms of environmental and economic benefits.
What is Pineapple Leaf Fiber?
Pineapple leaf fiber can be produced by manual or mechanical stripping method, after obtaining the leaves for the scraping treatment, and then fully washed with water, sun drying, the use of sunlight oxidation to make the fibers white and bright, i.e., pineapple leaves → scraping → washed → sun drying → raw hemp. Produced pineapple fiber after appropriate chemical treatment, can be in the cotton spinning equipment, wool spinning equipment, flax and jute spinning equipment for spinning.
How it Works
Pineapple Leaf Fiber works by utilizing a bio-hydrolysis method to transform pineapple leaves, into usable fiber. This process involves semi-automated machines that extract the fibers and degum them using natural, chemical-free bromelain, resulting in a biodegradable and environmentally friendly material.
